The Half Day Green Team is off to a great start, planting colorful perennial flower bulbs around the school to brighten the grounds and support pollinators. The students, in grades 3-5, are excited to dig in the dirt and see the results of their teamwork bloom in the spring.
Through their after school club activities, students learn how their actions impact the planet. They plan recycling events, make environmentally friendly crafts, and lead the school’s composting program to reduce waste. With guidance from club sponsors Mrs. Pardini and Mrs. Capstick, these young environmental leaders are learning that small actions can make a big difference for the earth and their school community.
