Answer to Friday's question....Released in 2005, John Grogan's novel Marley & Me is told in first-person narrative about his family's life with their destructive, but loyal yellow labrador retriever, Marley. It was an international bestseller, having sold over 5 million copies in over thirty languages. It spent 76 weeks on the bestseller list; 23 of those weeks at the #1 spot. According to the author, "each one of us has a story worth telling". Marley and Me was later adapted into a film that was released on December 25, 2008.
Today's question: Orson Scott Card wrote this book about hostile aliens in only 4 weeks! However, it took almost 20 years for the movie version to be released in 2013. Ask your advisory teacher to email your class answer to Mrs. Otto or Mrs. Walker now!
