In an immersive learning experience, the spirit of the Illinois State Fair came alive at Half Day School recently.
Some 95 Half Day students exhibited artwork at the 45th Annual Stevenson High School Consortium Art Fest.
Half Day School's musical, "Pirates," hit the stage, starring 115 talented students.
District 103 received a national music education award.

During Kindness Week last week, Half Day students, with the program facilitated by student council, collected and counted coins for California. The students raised $895.
